Narrative
It follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve as the ground arm of MI5 due to career-ending mistakes. Alfie Oldman, son of Gary Oldman, can be seen. He worked on several films in which Gary starred. Starring in Graham Norton and the Movies: Kristin Scott Thomas/George Takei/Claudia Winkleman/Jamie Oliver/First Aid Kit (2022). In my mind, Jackson Lamb was Timothy Spall and Katherine Standish was Olivia Coleman and I think they would have done it. That said, the casting is on point, everyone is great. Also a big shout out to the location scouts, Slough House is exactly what I imagined it to be. The mood, intrigue and pacing are as good as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I loved the books so much and I’m so glad it wasn’t as top notch as these things often are. She has retained the dirtiness and humor that make the books so much fun. I’m on the fourth episode and I can’t stop..
